The single-deck suction type vibrating destoner is specialized core equipment for removing side-by-side stones (stones of similar particle size to grains) in grain processing lines. It is mainly used for cleaning raw grains such as paddy, wheat and corn. It serves as vital equipment to guarantee finished-grain purity and protect downstream processing machinery.

Equipment Introduction

This is an efficient, eco-friendly and intelligent grain destoning machine. It applies combined principles of vibration and air classification to specifically remove side-by-side stones of similar grain size, as well as heavy impurities like mud lumps and glass fragments. It is widely adopted in rice, flour and coarse-grain processing lines.

2. Working Principle

Destoning is realized through combined vibration stratification + air-classification separation, in three phases:

1. Uniform feeding and material stratification Raw grains enter through the feed inlet. Driven by vibration motors, the destoning deck generates high-frequency vibration, while uniform upward airflow is produced by the top suction hood. Due to density difference, grains and stones stratify under combined vibration and airflow: low-density grains float on the upper layer, while high-density side-by-side stones sink to the bottom layer.

2. Reverse conveying and separation The vibration direction of destoning deck forms a certain angle against material forwarding direction. Bottom-layer stones travel reversely (upwards) along the deck under vibration and are discharged from the stone outlet. Upper-layer grains move forward driven by airflow and vibration and flow out via grain outlet, achieving complete separation between grains and stones.

3. Air-classification purification and dust removal Airflow from suction hood not only assists material stratification but also carries away light impurities and dust. The enclosed structure avoids dust escape. The electric air damper regulates air volume to match density variations of different grains and maintain stable destoning results.
