  • The batch-circulating grain dryer serves as core post-harvest grain-processing equipment. It is specially designed for drying paddy, wheat, corn and other grains. It rapidly reduces grain moisture to prevent mildew and germination, acting as key equipment to secure safe grain storage and processing.

    Equipment Introduction

    This is a low-temperature, high-efficiency and energy-saving circulating grain dryer adopting batch-processing plus circulating-drying mode. Compatible with multiple heat sources, it realizes efficient dehydration via low-temperature & high-air-volume drying technology while preserving grain quality with low breakage rate. It is widely applied in small-and-medium grain stations, family farms and grain processing plants.

    Working Principle

    It adopts a closed-loop process of circulating elevation — low-temperature drying — tempering & cooling to achieve uniform and efficient drying:

    1. Feeding and circulating elevation Grains are fed by elevator into the top grain-storage section. Driven by the low-speed elevator, grains are continuously conveyed to the top of drying section and flow downwards by gravity to form continuous circulation, ensuring every grain is evenly exposed to hot air.

    2. Low-temperature drying Hot air (40-60℃) generated by external heat sources is blown into the drying section by fan, contacting downward-flowing grains in counter-flow or parallelflow pattern to take away moisture. Low-temperature & high-air-volume mode avoids thermal damage to grains and effectively lowers breakage and cracking rates.

    3. Tempering and cooling Dried grains enter the tempering section for long-time moisture equalization, enabling even diffusion of internal moisture and minimizing cracks caused by internal-external moisture difference. Grains are naturally cooled during circulation to finish one drying cycle.

    4. Circulating operation and discharging Grains repeat the cycle of elevation-drying-tempering-cooling until moisture reaches preset value. Upon completion, the machine discharges finished grains automatically under PLC control with no manual intervention required.
